We met through a dating app in February 2024. It was Kirsten’s first time using the app, and Dustin was the first person she spoke to. After a few conversations we went beyond messages and heard each other’s voices on a video call that lasted for hours, much longer than either of us expected.

After two dates and a month of getting to know each other, we decided to make it official and see where this journey would take us. Every new thing we learned about each other became a fun discovery, making the adventure even more exciting. We found that we had many, many things in common. From how we thought, to us each carrying a cloth to clean our glasses with, to many other small and bigger things in between.

We brought to our relationship several "fur children" in the form of Roscoe and Winter. Kirsten is a cat mom, and Dustin is a dog dad. (and also some bonus scale children, which Kirsten now also loves).

In October, Dustin proposed to Kirsten by surprise in a haunted house called 13th Floor, since that is both of our favorite holiday season.
